Batumi Book & Education 2024 International Fair

The Batumi Art State University participated in the "International Exhibition of Batumi Book & Education 2024," hosted by Expo Batumi and founded by Osman Chalishkhan-Mzhavanadze. The exhibition was held from March 8th to 10th, 2024. Various Georgian and foreign organizations, including educational institutions, publishing houses, bookstores, and youth organizations took part in the second international exhibition.

During the exhibition, Batumi Art State University showcased works such as enamel, clothing design created by students from different faculties and books produced by the university publishing house. The BATU student Nino Gogiberidze gave a presentation about the university at the conference held within the framework of the exhibition.

 

The exhibition was attended by the Ambassador of Turkey to Georgia - Ali Kaan Orbay, who evaluated the exhibited works and praised the university and its students. Musician students Giorgi Bakhtadze and Zura Jegnaradze decorated the exhibition with live performances on the saxophone and trumpet during three days of the exhibition.

 

The partnership relations between Batumi Art State University and Artvini Choruh University were renewed. The Minister of Education, Culture, and Sports of Adjara, Maia Khajishvili, attended the opening ceremony and noted that such events are essential in informing young people about educational and informal activities and program access.

 

The II International Book and Education Exhibition lasted for three days and concluded with the awarding of diplomas to the participants. Batumi Art State University expressed their gratitude to the exhibition organizers and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara for the opportunity to participate in the event.
